Mallorca is widely recognised as a cycling paradise, and for good reason. Team Sky train here for 2 months in December and January, and you can experience the life of a pro cyclist with newly launched Velusso, a premium cycling travel company setting itself apart from the crowd with its focus on convenience and attention to detail, combined with elements of professional cycling.
With a stunning base of two luxury villas, Velusso guests will be privy to professional rider leadership and vehicle support on unique routes around the Balearic Island, a cycling paradise for amateur and WorldTour riders alike.
“At Velusso we have a passion for travel and cycling, which runs through our core. We take pride in putting smiles on the faces of every single one of our guests by providing them with a unique ride experience.
“Any rider that signs up to Velusso will experience quality in every aspect of their trip, whether that’s by interacting with our professional cyclist during a ride or enjoying a drink and a massage by the pool. I invite anyone who strives for a premium service and shares our passion for two wheels to join us in Mallorca and see what it’s all about.”
Co-founder and World Record holder for cycling across Europe, James Bowtell.
Over five days and four nights, guests will get a feel for riding like a professional with the aid of support cars, soigneurs, mechanics, nutritional support and power units before returning to their exquisite base in Pollenca. They will also receive coaching on the use of their power at the luxury villas, together with expert advice tailored to benefit and improve their riding. No stone is left unturned; during your Velusso experience you will be rewarded with food to match the setting, courtesy of an in-house chef supplied by Michelin star celebrated brand Marc Fosh.
Successful test trips in 2015 have proved that Velusso have a powerful formula for providing exceptional cycling experiences set for friends, corporate groups, or individuals looking to link up with other like minded riders. Prices start from £1550 per person with trips taking place from March until May and then later in October.
