There seems to be a new marketing shift upon helmets, with a few new ‘interesting’ designs coming out as of late, including the Air Attack from Giro and POC Octal. Another new design from Giro reprensting a new niche of helmet which was officially announced during Eurobike, part of Giro’s New Road collection; it’s basically a range of clothing and accessories that can be used on and off the road.
The Giro Aspect is a high-end commuter helmet equally at home on the ride to work or your next all day road ride. The side panels are available in either textured rubber or aluminum finish, and the padding and chinstrap features Giro’s Ultrasuede finish for optimal comfort. The soft visor is removable if not your style, and the Aspect features the RocLoc Air fit system that allows you to dial it in for your the head shape you were born with.
While the video is somewhat engaging, there is an awful lot of marketing BS that you’d expect from a large American company. Not too sure about this one, but it it may suit those who want one lid for all disciplines…
