Jay Golian is a UK-based photographer originally hailing from British Columbia, Canada. After falling his love with (now wife) Christina, they relocated to Edinburgh, and formed Elemental Photography. Although they specialise in wedding photography, Jay is a keen explorer and enjoys active pursuits, including cycling.
The UK’s longest standing UCI Continental cycling team, JLT-Condor recently visited Edinburgh for their sponsor day ride out and Elemental was invited to document the event with their unique style.
Starting in Ronde Bicycle Outfitters, the team and a group of ~20 rode some fantastic roads, experienced Scotland’s finest late spring weather (warm sunshine, heavy rain, hailstones, and a cold wind, all back to glorious sunshine) and finished at Gleneagles Hotel, Auchterarder. With Gleneagles now hiring out a fleet of Condor Bikes to its guests, it was a fitting place to spend the night and set off for a second ride out with around 100 fans
