The stylish Somerset-based company, Fabric (started by Charge founder, Nick Larsen), have announced a new water bottle system which uses an ingenious solution to replace the traditional bottle cage.
Our revolutionary cageless water bottle completely does away with the need for a cage by mounting directly to your frame. The ultralight-weight 1.5g studs are secure, remove unnecessary parts and improve the clean lines of your bike.
Essentially they’ve stripped it down to the bear minimal, using the bolts as studs which then engage into their proprietary bottles. The result is a much cleaner frame profile and (marginal) weight-saving.
Fabric say that they should start shipping in September. We’re looking forward to seeing what else is in the pipeline!
